Research on ecological development and sedimentation growth in the Waddenzee
Since the 1st of Januari 2019, Remco Rolvink and Berrie van Elderen are working together in a new office called VE-R.
The past years Remco mostly worked on integral projects in Africa, under the flag of DASUDA, which he was co-founder of. Most recent example of the work is the design for the river trajectory and floodplain of the Msimbazi River in Dar es Salam, Tanzania.
In the same period, Berrie worked on spatial design projects on all scale levels with v-eld, ranging from a design for a fence in De Cocksdorp, Texel (in cooperation with Expotise) to creating regional design strategies for the energy transition (in cooperation with PosadMaxwan).
After collaborating in the past working at the office of HOSPER, and after a few cooperation projects, it was time to strengthen the collaboration again.
VE-R will focus on meaningful projects, mainly in the Netherlands and in sub saharan Africa, in which the integral character comes first.
