LMUP granted financing package
The Lower Msimbazi river area envisioned as the lungs of the city
The Worldbank, Spain and the Netherlands have officially granted the financing package for the Lower Msimbazi Upgrading Plan in Dar es Salaam to support the flood-safety initiative. The flood-prone area will be transformed into a vibrant city park with sustainable urban development (400 ha in total).
The LMUP project was realised in collaboration with CDR, PO-RALG, Norplan and DASUDA.
