Preliminary design for OTP Accelerator presented to KCCA

The Old Taxi Park as an important transport hub and a vibrant public space

The OTP Master Plan for the Old Taxi Park in Kampala is agreed by the city authority KCCA and shared with all stakeholders. Together with the DASUDA team, VE-R is proud of this achievement. Phase 2 of the project is nearing completion with the Preliminary Design for Old Taxi Park in Kampala including the structural and architectural terminal design, the public space design, the terminal operational plan and traffic circulation plan for the Downtown area, ESIA setup and the preliminary financial assessment.

The OTP Omutima Gwa’ Kampala (luganda: heartbeat of Kampala) is progressively coming to life as a place of people and for people, strengthening the character of the most iconic square in downtown Kampala.
