VE-R works on diverse and challenging projects at all scale levels in rural and urban areas, in the Netherlands and in Sub-Saharan Africa. We are looking for reinforcement and have a vacancy for a landscape architect/urban planner (5 years of experience, Dutch speaking). As a intermediate designer, you will work on various spatial assignments, ranging from urban redevelopments and public space to landscape integrations and major transitions. You will participate in all phases of the design process, from analysis to concept to implementation drawing. You will work in a team with colleagues and external parties on innovative and feasible plans.
What will you do?
- Design, visualize and explain spatial designs and plans;
- Think along about strategic and conceptual issues;
- Collaborate with clients, governments and consultants;
- Contribute to knowledge development within the team.
What is required?
- A completed education in landscape architecture, urban planning or a related field;
- 5 years of relevant work experience;
- Strong design and visualization skills, preferably with software such as BricsCAD, Adobe CC and/or Rhino, TwinMotion and QGIS are a plus;
- A good sense of spatial quality and an analytical view;
- Independence and a proactive attitude, but also a team player;
- Good communication skills in Dutch (required) and English, both verbal and written.
